| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2004 I really enjoyed this beer. I’ve only tried about six milds. This would fall in the middle of the pack... my favorite of the style being Moorhouse Black Cat . This is a very light, refreshing amber ale. Small, fizzy, off-white head. Crisp, clean aroma and perfectly balanced flavor. Notes of iced-tea and straw in both. Light-bodied and watery with fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Perfect with food, much like a Vienna... only better as it’s an ale. Thanks to springslicker for the bottle. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2004 I wasn’t too sure what I had purchased. A true mild Ale is very hard to find in the U.S. and the better examples I had had were all homebrews.
This pours a clear medium amber body with a foamy white head.
The aroma is malty with a mild hop backing.
The flavor is nutty malt sweetness that rounds out nicely with just a touch of hops. Very smooth and drinkable. Flavorful, medium bodied and somewhat filling. A malted milk ball in a glass. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Sweet bitter flavors, carmel, nutty, some citrus, orange/grapefruit. Medium body, lite creamy mouthfeel. Sweet bitter finish. I dig it, nice brew. FROTHINGSLOSH (2037), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

This was my first time trying this particular offering. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a large creamy tan head. The aroma was sweet and malty. The flavor was sweet an malty with a bit of toasted malt and nut on the finish. A decently drinkable brew but nothing to seek out. Decent. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2004 Color, a clear, bright orange, beneath a satisfactory,1/2" white head.
Aroma, soft, fresh, hints of citrus, lightly flowering into a greater fruit bouquet
Tiny hops up front, tasty malt, light body, thoroughly mellow.
Very true to the style as I understand, but more substantial than some of those very-mild milds I’ve had. Not bad at all.
