Commercial Description:
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

22 oz bomber. One word: WOW! Pours black, with tiny brown head. Aroma may be the most delicious I’ve ever smelled: pure fudge/chocolaty goodness. Even with battered taste buds, this beer is amazing. Goes down like a Starbucks brand iced-coffee-shake-thing. Tastes like swiss chocolate, whole milk, and a black coffee rolled into one. I say: go buy a Starbucks iced coffee drink, then drink it side-by-side with this beer. The only way you can improve on the Starbucks coffee drink is if you added alcohol... and Southern Tier added 11%!! Try this beer before you die.

Black color, small tan head (small due to the fat from the chocolate perhaps?) Apelsinkrokant/orange with chocolate scent. Salty, acidic, bitter, chocolate taste. Long dry bitter chocolate aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Pours a near black with a thick cappuccino head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is essentially that of coffee mixed with fudge and is damn near intoxicating. The palate is creamy and the taste is more of the same mochaness, with the coffee flavor lingering on and on. Delicious.

Black with brown head. Aroma is toasty with coffee. The flavor is strong, sweet, and more dominated by the chocolate. Some light hops and some alcohol on the finish. Has an unusually thick mouthfeel. Very rich and heavy, I don’t think I could drink a lot of this at once by itself. I only rated a portion of the bottle and used the rest for an absolutely delicious vanilla ice cream and stout float.

bomber strait from the source. pours an opaque dark brown with a dark cafe colored head. aroma is sweet, rich chocolate with some coffee slipping through and a pleasant nip of alcohol. very light chinook notes too. taste is intense velvety chocolate with light coffee coming through on the finish. more-bitter-than-sweet finish leaves the palate coated in a sludge of chocolatey goodness. mouthfeel is heavy & viscous with gentle pricks of carbonation and a very full body. really a desert brew, & great for a rainy day too. been keeping this one for a rainy day, and she came through brilliantly. for those not a fan of choklat - avoid mokah. it’s very similar to choklat, though i think the chocolate flavor in mokah is much better.
