Commercial Description:
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

From a bomber. Smell was of chocolate and coffee, as advertised. Taste was exactly the same. This beer is very, very sweet, extremely chocolatey and with a lot of coffee flavor. It lived up to it’s packaging. I thought it was a bit too sweet. Something about the sweetness and the dark chocolate just didn’t go. None the less, an excellent beer. I couldn’t imagine drinking a whole bomber of this, good thing I split it with someone.

Bottled at Sorbon, Bromma, Sweden. Pours out in an opque black colour with a dense pale brown head. Dense sugary aroma of chocolate sauce, caramel, vanilla and alcohol. Full-bodied with dense and cloyingly sweet notes of melted milky chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cookies and alcohol. Dense and sweet finish of milky chocolate and cocoa-powder. Not my thing, way too sweet and lifeless.

draft at naked city. pours thick black and gooey. creamy dense tan head. enormous plume of hot cocoa on the nose, just ridiculous heaps of sugary milk chocolate. creamy thick body, very little chalkiness. just pure chocolate ooze. mid palate is pretty much hersheys syrup. long sweet finish.

Bottle at Sune’s Sommerhus - shared with Mette & Sune. Black - offwhite head. Cocoa, chocolate, julekalender chocolade, light coffee, dryness, high malty, metallic, oboy, light licorice, bunred, barley, high sweetness. Simple - Taste too much of bad/cheap chocolate.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 650ml bottle into a snifter. There is no freshness date or born on date on the bottle. Appearance: Its body has a very dark brown/black color that blocks out all light. The head on top is thick and foamy with a creamy tan color. It hangs on well as it slowly fades down to thin wispy layer that leaves behind some slick lacing. Smell: The aroma has a big sweet and creamy chocolate and roasted grain scent with a hint of dark roasted coffee. Also there is very noticeable boozy alcohol presence. Taste/Mouth: The flavor has a big bold and boozy character. It has sweet roasted malts with loads sweet milk chocolate, warming alcohol and a slow finish of dark coffee with cream. The finish also has just a light hint of hop bitterness as well. The palate has a big full body with a velvety smooth texture and active yet smooth carbonation. Notes: This is a huge beer with big bold flavor and hefty 11%abv.

Bottle. Tasty, but too sweet for me, I much prefer the ST Jah-va. Pours black with minimal head. Aroma of big chocolate some mild coffee. Taste of more big chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Finish has a shot of bitter chocolate ending smooth.

(22oz bomber, thanks to bu11zeye) Pours a dark espresso brown, nice bubbles. Nose is milk chocolate. Taste is slightly too sweet, but a small complaint really. This beer is a malt head’s dream (which I am) and I absolutely loved it. Almost nothing wrong with this one. Reminds me of Hershey’s chocolate syrup but carbonated.
