Commercial Description:
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

Pour is black wit tan head. Quickly fades. On the nose, coffee and chocolate. a slight vanilla touch as well. Make no mistake this is a wow beer. taste just like a starbucks to me. Nice balance with a bitter finish to even out the sweetness.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Creamy choccolate coffee vanilla aroma. Spitzenklasse. Sweet choccolate dominated flavor with smooth and creamy cofee caramel vanilla notes. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. Impressive that you hardly smell or taste the alcohol. The sweetness is not too much of a good thing as there is still a fine hops note.

Pours a hearty dark brown with a creamy brown head. Big aromas of dark chocolate, coco, coffee, caramel, roasted malts, and vanilla. This is an absolutely delicious brew! The flavor is pretty intense of chocolate, almost like it was melted right into this glass and transformed to liquid. The coffee note is a par under with some roasted malts and a little caramel poking through. There are also noted coco and a touch of vanilla and toffee. Sweet, a little bitter, creamy/silky and rich. You can actually notice some of the chocolate after every sip. The alcohol is not really noticeable. Waited a long time to try this and I’m glad I did. Awesome.

Bottle shared by bconley @ otakudens Vero Beach Throwdown. Pours extremely dark brown with light brown head. Very strong milk chocolate aroma. It tastes like a liquid Hershey bar with some espresso. Alcohol flavor is pretty strong.Full body with average carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Pours dark chocolate brown with little head. The aroma blew me away with its intensity but gradually evolved (devolved?) with each sniff. It went from pure dark chocolate... to chocolate pudding... to chocolate pudding skin... to scratch n’ sniff chocolate pudding. Flavor was stovetop chocolate pudding. Coffee and an alcohol finish emerge as it warms. Fairly creamy. No surprise that this is obnoxious and in your face, but that’s not a bad thing when it comes to chocolate.

Pitch black beer with a thick sticky tan head. The aroma is just incredible. Massive, soft sweet coffee and cocoa character. Excellent sweet chewiness. Intense chocolate syrup and a fresh coffeeish nose as well. Nice and chewy with a bit of heavy sweetness. Nice and chewy palate with a bit of milk chocolate sweetness. The chocolate is mostly present through the middle, but the coffee pops up on the finish. A little bit of soft earthy bitterness. Like all the ST imperial series, it’s really intense and sweet but it’s incredibly delicious.
