Commercial Description:
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

pours a deep black with a decent frothy head. Aroma of graham crackers, chocolate syrup, mocha, milk chocolate, whipping cream, cold pressed coffee with some nicely complementing boozey undertones. medium body. pretty nice.

Bombers courtesy of GMCC2181 and fiver29 – thanks guys! Pours black with mahogany hues and a 2 finger creamy tan head that leaves nice lacing. The nose is dark fruit, milk chocolate and light coffee. The taste is cocoa, mocha, Hersey’s syrup and rich coffee. It reminds me of a McDonald’s Iced Mocha actually. Medium creamy mouthfeel. I was worried this would be too sweet, but it’s not that bad sweetness wise at first. Gets a little cloying as it warms but not too much. Good brew! Thanks Gabe and John!

Thanks to Gmcc2181 for sending this one my way. Been really wanting to try this. Pours a big, thick black into the glass. Pencil thin lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is nice, rich and sweet and almost like chocolate syrup. Flavor is nice...the qualities of both the Choklate and the Jah-va come through, but its dominated by Choklate. A little cloying on the palate. The 11% really hits hard. Another good one from Southern Tier, but like Creme Brulee, its better to share this with a group.

This one poured a nice dark black color with a thin tan head. Aroma was loads of dark sweet chocolate and hints of roasted burned coffee as well. Fore flavor was much the same as the chocolate, very sweet strong chocolate flavor, with a long bitter coffee aftertaste. Quite good stuff.

Bomber! Dark ass black with dark brown head. Aroma of bittersweet cocolate, molasses, coffee and carmel malts. Taste is very sweet and creamy, a full body milk cocolate mixed with a bitter coffee bean finish. A bit too sweet for my taste, really would stick with the choklat instead.

Pours a dark blackish-brown with very little head. Aroma is caramel dark chocolate, vanilla extract, french roast and definite alcohol/bourbon notes. Flavor is definite bittersweet/dark chocolate with definite nutty tones. The bitter notes of espresso are also present. Body is very creamy with light carbonation. Very smooth body.

Pours as dark as motor oil black with a thin beige head. The aroma is chocolate milk, bang on, caramel, vanilla, oak, cardboard, stale dark coffee, alcohol. The flavour is an exact replica of that, big big milk chocolate notes, vanilla, subtle espresso, anise, alcohol. Delicious. Silky mouth feel, medium weight, medium long dry coffee finish.
