| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Dark pour with smallish head. Large chocolatey aroma. This was the bitter dark chocolate version of the (milk) Choklat. I liked this one quite a bit better. I was disappointed that there weren’t more coffee notes in it, but still pretty good. A must try if you liked Choklat and prefer darker chocolate flavors. zvikar (435), Tel-Aviv, Israel
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2009 @Freaktoberfest, pours dark brown with a chocolate color head, aroma of chocolate, nuts, carob and scotch, flavors of instant coffee, chocolate, alcohol can be sense, finish is rather bitter. Nice complexity. Hopper (336), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2009 A dark black beer with no head. The aroma is like a fine dark chocolate. The taste is a very chocolatey dessert beer with a lot of alcohol. A CHOCOLATE CANDY BAR BEER. This beer is meant to be drank in 6- 10oz. servings & that is it. One person drinking a bomber by themselves is not a good idea as the chocolate syrup taste really starts to get to you. If I just had a small glass of it it would get a higher rating. But this is too much for one person per bomber. CaptainCougar (5532), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 14, 2009 Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany hues and a small froth of dark tan head. Aroma of rich, sweet molten dark chocolate and roasty coffee beans with a touch of molasses. Body starts full and sticky sweet with lots of chocolate covered espresso bean flavor and some slightly doughy caramel undertones before a drier, bittersweet, and lightly warming finish. Very true to its name and fairly complex. DuffManSW (297), Riverside, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Bottle thanks to punkrkr27...Pours black with a tan head... Aroma is chocolate, maybe a little vanilla but I don’t pick up any coffee.. Flavor is mostly milk chocolate and a slight bitterness.. It’s a good beer but it just didn’t come together for me. Jahva and Choklat are great by themselves I’m not too sure they needed to be combined. Soonah (975), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Poured like an oil slick into my glass. A thin ring of tan foam settled into a lasting ring. The aroma was coffee, milk and chocolate. The flavor was a super sweet blast of milk chocolate and coffee. More like a liqueur or a shot a chick would order in a bar. Thick, full-bodied mouthfeel. Excessive. I didn’t finish the bomber. Macadem (103), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Smells of sweet dark chocolate, with nice hints of coffee. Big taste of chocolate, coffee, and what really blows me away about this beer is there’s still a great imperial stout behind that. Delicious.
