Bottle at Mikkel’s House. Cloudy amber - offwhite head. Wood, bourbon, oak, american oak, light hoppy, sweetnes,s caramel, malty sweetness, toasted, coconut. Where are all the IIPA caracters - all the hops, and why all that wood/oak, it is far too much.

Fashizzle sample at Coles, the coolest beer bar on, er, Elmwood. Big american oak flavors of Vanilla spice and wood, creamy and entirely well-integrated - GOOD!

Bomber provided by DrBayern (thanks Matt), pour was of a dark orange color, foam beige. Aroma was of grapefruits, hops, sweet malts, slight hint of oak. I’m not a fan of oaked beers, however, this beer was wonderful. Hop and grapfruit dominate with a tinge of sweet oak in the end, rather smooth drinking beer, which I suspect would make this beer dangerous. Tremendous!

Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Sweet, oaky aroma with a ton of hops. Very malty front, oak really shines through. Freshly mowed lawn finish, a real winner.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting at the Harlequin. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, grapefruit, hops. Flavour is very sweet, caramel, a bit of wood, grapefruit hops. Light bitter finish. Not nearly as hoppy as I expected, and therefor a bit disappointing. Also too sweet imo.
