| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Nice deep golden color. Aroma is of hops, floral, citrus, and oak. Taste is full of floral hops, oak, honey, and some citrus undertones. Has a nice hoppy and oak taste in the finish. Another pleasant brew from our friends at Southern Tier. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Slightly hazy pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of oak, caramel, herbal hops, and lots of alcohol. Sweet caramel malty flavour with probably more tannin than hop bitterness. Don’t expect too much of IIPA character, but a nice oaked strong ale. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear copper-orange color with a thick white head. Mostly citric but lightly peppery hop character, slight alcohol presence. Slightly sweet start, followed by a nice citric-pineapple taste and a light dryness. Pretty nice. jcr (1158), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Bomber. Hazy amber body. Tall, fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing. Strong malty aroma of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit. Below that are notes of oak wood, citrus, pineapple, resin. Hint of alcohol. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Full body, smooth, slightly raspy texture, moderate to lively carbonation. Enjoyed all the things going on in this beer. Less bitter than expected and the hops are more subtle providing tastes of pineapple, flowers, grapefruit. Very good. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2009 22oz bottle: Autumnal orange and gold colored pour with a smallish white head that fades. Beautifully blended nose that encapsalates the hops, malt and oak. The dry hopping really helps balance the heavy oak notes. The body is a heavier build, but not cloying. Spritzy carbonation and really fresh hops keep the flavors bouncing off the tongue. A very nice blend of citrus, vanilla, caramel, etc. evergreen0199 (271), London, Greater London, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Bottle from Beermerchants UK. Deep orange pour with medium white head. Malty, fruity, boozy aroma. Tastes incredibly rich, sweet, malty, caramel, oaky, hardly any hop taste to me. Very warming and comforting. Very nice DIPA but I probably prefer the usual Unearthly.
