22 ounce bottle shared by footbalm at his big tasting. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is heavily hops, pine and citrus, light oak. A lightly hoppy flavor, lots of oak and smooth malts. Sweet and mellow, yet very good.

Bottle from theisti. Nose is more pronounced (but different) than the normal Un*Earthly. Lots of wood and wine tannin-like smells. Musty/earthy sugars, too. Flavor is a rush of caramel and sweetness to start, with some piney bitterness showing up later. Hint of boozy heat, but less than expected. The wood is more noticeable at first, less so as it warms. The wood character takes the edge off the bitterness, which may not necessarily be a good thing, since the sweetness dominates in this one. Good, not great. Thanks, Tim.

Straightforward amber color with a decent beige head. Aroma is subdued in the hops department compared to regular unearthly, mores the pity. A lot of sugary sweetness on the nose, almost like cotton candy, a little mustiness also, along with a hint of citrus. This beer just seems too sweet to me. It loses the hop kick to the sack that unearthly has. While decent, it isn’t special. Worth one try, but probably no more. Unearthly is FAR superior.

Bomber, pours golden amber with a thick white tan head. Aroma over the top malty sweetness, sugary , fruity and citrus. Flavor over the top hoppy smooth malty sweetness excellent tongue feel with a woody after taste. I like it a lot, although I think the oak aging takes a little away from the original. But its still good
