Jan 6, 2009 12 oz bottle pous a clear orange amber with a soapy beige head. Piney hops touch of spice and malt in the nose. Toasted malty flavors. Piney, earthy, some citrus, and a bitter pine and alcohol warm finish. Nothing great but a pretty decent warmer.

Jan 5, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours reddish brown with almost no head. Heavily carbonated. Aroma is of hops, pine, malt and alcohol. Taste is of very earthy hops, spice, malt, and pine. Huge, bitter alcohol burn. Thick mouthfeel with a very bitter finish. This beer has a very funky earthiness that makes it hard to drink.

Jan 3, 2009 Pours a nice brown/ruby color. Aroma is a bit of hops, a bit of malt. Nothing really exciting. Flavor is similarly nondescript. A bit of hop kick, but not a lot. Not a bad beer. Easy drinker, but at 8% it’s not really a session beer.

Dec 31, 2008 12 oz bottle-pours an off white ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is pine/citrus hops, secondary medium malt-toffee. Taste is herbal/pine/some citrus/spice hops, secondary sweet medium malt-toffee. They clash more than complement each other although still enjoyable. Mild carbonation. Dec 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a golden brown color with a smaller off white head. The aroma has a decent amount of citrus and pine hops blended with, but not overshadowed by sweet tea and caramel. The flavor has a nice sweetness from caramel malt and tea, but is overcome a bit by the citrus and pine hops. The finish is more on the bitter side. Medium bodied, light carbonation, and fairly easy to drink.
