Dec 9, 2006 12oz bottle pours caramel brown with a short offwhite head that fades back to a ring but laces a little from there. Aromas of caramel, slight hops, molasses, and some raisin. Flavor is caramel sweet upfront with some raisin fruitiness and some light hops at the finish. Low carbonation medium body and a slight bitter finish. Not bad..

Dec 7, 2006 Hoppy light barleywine aroma, deserving of winter, natural, and fresh citrus. clear burnt amber with short beige head. Hoppy DIPA with light barleywine backbone and medium ale palate. delightful.

Dec 6, 2006 12 oz bottle. Clear ruby brown with a bone head. Lace patches and rings. Rummy bananas and caramel. Prominent alcohol, bitter malts. Thin molasses, golden raisin, candied orange peel. Light carb, medium light. Dry grassy finish. Bit too much hop for me.

The body is a dark ruddy brown with a firm, creamy and quite lasting off white head. Very attractive beer.

The aroma is hoppy with some sweet crystalized sugar spiked malt and a faint hint of toastiness.
<P>
Fore is medium hop bitter with pine notes, medium sweetness malts and more mild toastiness. The aroma tells yhou exactly what to expect. Added warmth gives it nutty and sweeter malt flavors. No real faults with it. No real stellar pluses either, save the beautiful appearance.

Nov 30, 2006 Decent dense creamy head of bright white bubbles. Light carbonation. Interesting aroma with leather, malts and some spicy and piney hops. Color is a dark reddish brown. Little bit of roasted malts and a big handful of nuts. Good hop bitterness and dryness. Almost chalky. Little dried peanut skins in there also. Finish is dry and bitter. Little alcohol warming. A pretty good brew.

Nov 8, 2006 Here is a very good beer. This beer tastes like winter feels. In a good way though. This would be an excellent beer after a good game of ice hockey.

Nov 1, 2006 Pours an orangish brown with an off white head. The aroma is hoppy with pine and a spiced background. Flaovr covers the mouth with spice and hoppish flavors and finishes with a nice bitterness on the palate.

Oct 27, 2006 Dark orange in color. Great aroma. Great hop taste at the end. Can barely taste the alcohol. After my first sip, I thought..........this is a great beer!
