The aroma is mostly roasted malt with some maple syrup and hop scents in the background. The palate is very full. Earthy hop tastes suprised me up front and were followed by a good roasted malt presence. Refreshing and easy to drink, this is one of the best seasonals around. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA

Aroma is very hoppy with grapefruit but also has caramel and English malts. Medium bodied, quite bitter with some alcohol. Initially I was really impressed by this, by the end of the bottle I didn’t think much of it. I tried to average the scores. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
