Nov 3, 2009 Clear deep amber pour with a constellation of light head on top. Aroma of Southern tier yeast and hops up front, some fruit. Hop forward flavor, with dry caramelly malts. Peanut butter in the finish with some alcohol. This beer is ambivalent like a hotel room.

Oct 31, 2009 Ah, yes. Good. Poured fairly dark. Malt flavors. Some cola. Some medium level hops, a bit of floral, a bit of grapefruit. Thought this was good.

Oct 30, 2009 Has a clear dark golden/amber color. Aroma is full of floral hops with some grain and very little lemon peels. Taste is pretty much the same. It’s medium bodied with fresh floral hops and some citrus. Has a fresh hop aftertaste. Another pleasant experience from Southern Tier.

Oct 30, 2009 Pours a dark mahogany/copper with a light tan head. Aromas of citrus hops, grapefruit, slightly masked roasted malts, and caramel. Flavor is citrus hops and grapefruit upfront then goes to a nicely balanced caramel and slight roasted malts. Somewhat dry, bitter, semi sweet. I wouldn’t mind aging some of these but I went through the 6 pack already:(

Aug 4, 2009 Bottle. Had this sometime ago. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Chewy malty body with hints of chocolate and dark fruit, plum and some lighter cinnamon like spices. Great brew.

Jul 4, 2009 Very nice well hopped aroma of caramel, pine needles, and oranges. Clear dark orange, thin head, some lacing. Lots of orange and orange peel. There’s a hint of clove that turns to nutmeg in the end. Not as potent as advertised, but the alcohol is detectable. A nice holiday beer.

Jun 28, 2009 12 oz. Clear deep copper with a lasting half-inch of foam. Aromas of resin, caramel, and spicy citrus. Tastes of caramel, resin, orange, toasted pecan and walnut, earthy tea leaf, and oak. Medium bodied and smoothly carbonated, with a nice dryness throughout.
