Thanks to SwoopJones. Bottle number 716 - in case that’s important. Appearance: Hazy orange, nice white head, lots of visible carbonation. Aroma: Lemon juice, mango, hops, very fresh aroma. Flavour: Nice crisp start with lots of hops, lemons, plenty of floral notes, nice long tart finish. Delicious.

This Pale Ale poured a crystal clear golden yellow colour with a bright, white, smoothly textured head. Scents include floral hopps, grass and a sharp citrus scent. First taste was slightly watery but with decent hopp flavours. Tastes of grass and citrus. Finish is slightly bitter with hopps lingering on the palate...

THOUGHTS: I hated the label and thought it was way too hop heavy for an APA. Not enough malt to balance thing out. Nothing special and not something I’ll try again. I love their imperials, but haven’t found many of their regulars that I like. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, medium yellow with a rather small, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was light biscuit, moderate to heavy piney, resinous and lemony hops. It was a little like lemon Pine Sol, but not in an entirely bad way. The initial flavor was lightly sweet, bitter and slightly acidic; while the finish was rather bitter with a long duration. There was bready, biscuity malt; and piney, citric and then grassy and metallic hops. The light to medium body was a little watery and then rather dry with tingly carbonation and a metallic finish.
