I would serve this American pal ale to any snobby Brit who doubts the colony brewers. Perfect golden color with a classic head. Aroma of lemon and pine. More sour hops and malts int he taste with just a bit of bitterness to chew on in the fininsh ChristianScheffel (4529), Odense, Denmark

Juicy hop aroma of orange peel, grapefruit, roses and pine. Excellent balanced flavour with nice biscuit-y malt, floral hop flavour and the right amount of bitterness. beerandIT (184), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Pours a nice gold color with just under an inch of head or right there at it. Light bodied pale ale. Some malts there with a hint of hops. Very smooth and palatable pale ale. Light malts on the aftertaste. Try this one sometime, great for the summer. HomeBrewHawk (277), De Soto, Kansas, USA

Poured a brilliant clear gold with less than a finger of tight bubbled white head. Piney hop aroma with some biscuity malt. Plenty of hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Could use a little more malt. Lots of carbonation. Hops provide a drying finish. Very drinkable. A solid pale ale. mjs (1502), Helsinki, Finland

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2009 Source: On tap at Medici in Normal, IL. Appearance: Poured a slightly hazy gold color with a one finger white head. Aroma: Mainly floral but a bit of sweet fruit and caramel malt were presesnt. Flavor: The flavor was a little unbalanced. Not a lot of malt, but a solid hop presence and a good bitter finish. Palate: Medium body with good carbonation and a clean mouthfeel. Overall: Good American Pale, but only an average offering in the style. Kind of subpar offering from ST.
