| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a firm white head. Good lacing. Sweetish and crisp pine hop aroma. Malts in the background. Bitter, hoppy flavour. Finish is bitter hops with slight notes of sweet liquorice. A good beer, but a bit one-dimensional, and feels a bit thin now and again. 07-11-09.

This is a very bad beer. When I poured this into a glass, my friend commented that it looked like Corona; it didn’t get any better from there. Trev (871), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Aroma is fairly strong citrus hoppiness, some caramel maltiness underneath.
Bready sweet malty body with a medium fruity herbal hop bitterness to the flavour. italianjohn (360), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Pours hazy murky orange with a thin white head. Aroma of light citrus, floral, honey, apricot and some alcohol. Taste is more toffee and roast malt but still a lot of light fruit and citrus. Not overwhelming and very drinkable. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Pours golden w/ a sudsy white head (little retention) from the 12 oz. bottle: Aroma is... wow, is that mango?!?, apricot, sugar, bubblegum, the tartness from citrus pulp, and nice resiny hops. Flavor is grapefruit, some caramel, spices, and much more grainy/toasty than the nose implies. Thin palate, grainy finish. Drinkability: Considering how the nose and taste is almost completely different, I would have to say this ale is multidimensional and really cool! Rebuy: Yes. #209 on 21112009, DG. Decent aromas of citrus and honey. Good citrus flavor along with some honey and sweet malt. Pretty sweet for an APA but not too shabby. wxman (587), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 11, 2009 THOUGHTS: Not bad. Fairly British, really, but definitely not extraordinary. I avoided this for a long time because I knew it never would be extraordinary. Lots of hop depth, but needed more malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a light to medium, clear golden with a small, white head that mostly diminished to just a slight ring around the edge. The flavor was light to moderate malt, moderate, peachy, floral, resinous, earthy and citric hops; and tea. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly acidic; while the finish was sweet and rather bitter with an average to long duration. There was malt, citric, earthy, resinous, herbal and floral hops and even metallic hops. The light to medium body was slightly syrupy and then somewhat dry with fizzy carbonation and metallic and lightly chalky finish.
