Aroma of light citrus,a little grassy, a little bit of fresh flowers, and bready malt. watery feel. Light on the tongue, a little bit of citrus, notes of peach, little bit of malt, kinda potato aftertaste. Slightly dry on the finish. Not what I’d expect from an american pale, southern tier, or an "extraordinary ale.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2009 On tap at Beer Temple. Clear golden copper colour, white head. Aroma of light hops, malts, caramel, fruity yeast, rather English and all very light. Flavour is about the same, with a piny hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice session ale. j12601 (1349), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Bottle. Probably held onto this one a bit long. Pours a lightly hazy gold with an enormous creamy white head that makes me think this may be infected. Small gray sediment and floaties. Cardboard, dry Styrofoam, and some musky yeast. Smells a little like an old Belgian pale. Papery, spicy, and huge carbonation. Light bitterness with a touch of buttery sweetness. Definitely infected. I’ll have to get another one of these fresh at some point and re-rate. Pawola22 (783), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, orange-golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing on the surface, but a good amount on the glass. Aroma is a flowery, malty sweetness with a faint toasted biscuit and some honey. A light orange, citrus fruit accompanies the caramels as well. Flavor is an initial, flowery orange sweetness with a thin honey, tea, slightly minty bread malt. Some grapefruit bitterness, biscuits, and grainy caramels as well. Finishes lightly bittered with a good amount of flowery, bright citrus and some minty, honey sweetened caramels that linger for a moderate duration. Fairly thin bodied. Overall, this was a tough beer to rate. The flavor was pretty nice, but the body was way too thin. It was nicely balanced and had other things I really liked, but it also had too many things I disliked. I think "Phin & Matt" need to rethink puting their name on this beer. wlminter (14), Virginia, USA

This is a very bad beer. When I poured this into a glass, my friend commented that it looked like Corona; it didn’t get any better from there. Trev (887), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
