12oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, orange-golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing on the surface, but a good amount on the glass. Aroma is a flowery, malty sweetness with a faint toasted biscuit and some honey. A light orange, citrus fruit accompanies the caramels as well. Flavor is an initial, flowery orange sweetness with a thin honey, tea, slightly minty bread malt. Some grapefruit bitterness, biscuits, and grainy caramels as well. Finishes lightly bittered with a good amount of flowery, bright citrus and some minty, honey sweetened caramels that linger for a moderate duration. Fairly thin bodied. Overall, this was a tough beer to rate. The flavor was pretty nice, but the body was way too thin. It was nicely balanced and had other things I really liked, but it also had too many things I disliked. I think "Phin & Matt" need to rethink puting their name on this beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours yellow with a white head that lasts. This is a bad beer. This is a very bad beer. When I poured this into a glass, my friend commented that it looked like Corona; it didn’t get any better from there.

dark gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma is fairly strong citrus hoppiness, some caramel maltiness underneath. Bready sweet malty body with a medium fruity herbal hop bitterness to the flavour.

Clear golden pour hardly any head .... malty bready citrus aroma taste of light caramel malt bready herbal ... with a grapefruit lemon spice kick at the end ..... i wouldn’t say this is extraordinary at all but it is an ok drinkable brew

Pours hazy murky orange with a thin white head. Aroma of light citrus, floral, honey, apricot and some alcohol. Taste is more toffee and roast malt but still a lot of light fruit and citrus. Not overwhelming and very drinkable.

Pours golden w/ a sudsy white head (little retention) from the 12 oz. bottle: Aroma is... wow, is that mango?!?, apricot, sugar, bubblegum, the tartness from citrus pulp, and nice resiny hops. Flavor is grapefruit, some caramel, spices, and much more grainy/toasty than the nose implies. Thin palate, grainy finish. Drinkability: Considering how the nose and taste is almost completely different, I would have to say this ale is multidimensional and really cool! Rebuy: Yes. #209 on 21112009, DG.

Sampled at 2009 Pittsburgh Brufest. Poured a slightly hazy orange color. Decent aromas of citrus and honey. Good citrus flavor along with some honey and sweet malt. Pretty sweet for an APA but not too shabby.

Pours a hazy goldwen orange with a fairly remarkable white head. Aroma is fruit and spice. Taste is sweet malt, some maple syrup, honey, piney hops and grapefruit. Good effort; very interesting.
