Quite dark brown; very little tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roast, caramel, and light vanilla. Flavor predominantly chocolate, coffee, and roast; moderately bitter, hoppy, roasty finish. Medium-thick and frothy; mildly sticky. This is a solid, if forgettable, above-average porter.

Jul 26, 2008 Near black pour with ruby highlights. Lots of chocolate and coffee on the nose. Chocolate taste is complimented by expresso bitterness. Very drinkable.
