| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Golden in colour, thin initially large white coloured head, some lacing. The aroma was lightly sweet, herbal, floral, some spice and citrus. The flavour is of oranges, peaches, some herbs and spices, minor alcohol. Sweet alcoholic mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes spicy, some alcohol warmth, lingering.
This is lacking the body and aggressiveness of the top triples, while this is somewhat enjoyable it is highly forgettable.
650ml bottle from the Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York.
Opened on January 6, 2008.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Glad you are reading. While the Anderson Valley is nice, this is a major let down. Most Southern Tiers are nice and aggressive. This one is not. Hardly a triple. hiphop (84), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2008 A decent take on the style.... I’ll get back to rating it again. I don’t intend to have it soon because there are many more out there I need to try again first or try again. MrBunn (1561), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Bottle. Surprisingly clear gold body with a bit of a white head and aromas that are bland... maybe some pepper and citrus. Major player in the flavor is the peppery bite with a touch of alcohol and some cloves. A little bit of a garbage water taste to it... not going to win any awards from me. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle from Greenwood Gourmet Grocery in Greenwood, VA near Crozet. Pours light amber with a minimal head and light head retention. Surprisingly clean and dry aroma... some fruitiness. Odd grassy taste leads into a fairly fruity and caramelly taste. An odd creature here, but I like it. I think. ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 From a bottle, pours golden copper color. Aromas of hops, yeast and a fruityness. Not much similiarity to other tripel’s i’ve had. didnt notice the alcohol at all, and was actually surprised it was 9%. Very drinkable. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2008 22oz bomber: Sunset orange pour with a nice frothy head that offers plenty of lacing. Dirty, yeasty nose with a healthy blast of lemony hops. The body seems thin, but packs an alcoholic punch. A nice layer of honey malt anchors the body, with esthery apple and peach adding some dimension. The hops seem to mirror the esthers, lending a nice apricot hoppiness to the finish. Not a very good tripel in my books, but an interesting beer none-the-less.
