May 16, 2008 Astringent, medicinal, and citric. Not a very good tripel. I’m a huge fan of some Southern Tier beers (especially the UnEarthly) but this one just didn’t do it for me.

May 11, 2008 Pours gold into a Tulip. Fluffy white conglomerate head leaves spot lacing as is slowly pancakes. Candi and halertau aromas. Crisp upfront with sweet caramel and sugar. Pepper in the middle with a slightly chalky and sour lasting hop finish.

May 4, 2008 Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light fruit and floraly. Medium body. Light fruit flavor with notes of peach and citrus, light spice. Very low bitterness. Not bad but unimpressive.

May 2, 2008 Pour is a bright golden with a soft white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy but nothing outstanding. Flavor is some spice and yeast with a some what fruity aftertaste. Better than some but not as good as most of its Belgian counterparts.

Apr 30, 2008 amber color, decent foam. nose is nice somewhat sweet with some belgian style spices, some yeast in there too, has kinda a citric bite kinda tart not bad but not up to par with most of the other beers they make.

Apr 7, 2008 Bottle at Chaucer’s pub-Slightly hazy yellow liquid sits beneath a frothy, bleached white foam. Some lace. The nose is fairly spicy and hints at pears and apples, with fruity malts and lavender with some citrus. This tripel shows pears and banana with lemon custard and spices, leading into floral hops and an alcoholic twang. Quite the sipper, and more so as it warms, but tasty and a good bottle to share.

Apr 2, 2008 Pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, spicy, grainy, malts, and spicy hops. Flavor is malty, herbal, floral, grainy, spicy hops, and a slight alcohol finish.

Apr 1, 2008 Solid tripel, but I am not a huge fan of the style - too sweet for me. This one is ok, maybe a little drier than I was expecting. ABV is there for sure. Would have liked it better if it wasnt quite so thin.
