Commercial Description:
“a galaxy of taste in every bottle” It is through the movement of the universe that life presents itself in transformation. It is in this spirit that we make ÜberSun, a tribute to the dynamic energy of summer. The alignment of wheat and barley through this hop-infused brew embodies the solar system itself... This may be a difficult task, but one our brewers revel in! They brew a galaxy of taste into every batch. ÜberSun is the ultimate experience that will challenge you with each sip. ÜberSun Imperial Summer Wheat Beer takes off where our Hop Sun finishes. Like it’s little brother, ÜberSun is clean and full of flavor, but don’t pull an Icarus– this is one big beer! Pour a glass or drink straight from the bottle, it’s meant to be consumed wisely with friends between summer solstice and autumnal equniox. 8.0% abv • 5ºL •

Golden color with a taller, cream colored head. Green grassy hops along with some citrus and cloves; a touch of wheat and flour paste also in the aroma. Quite dry for a weiss. Initial flavors of of key lime set the pace. Light resin and bananas float about. I don’t get enough wheat and malt. A sharp light bodied IPA.

über sun may be the big brother of hop sun but he is the looser in the family. The beer is not bad but it did not live up to expectations. Melon herbal hops and sweet booz throughout. Sweetie finish I was looking for something big but crisp.

Poured from a 22oz bomber and served in a shaker. This beer poured a golden amber with a very light haze and a thin head of creamy, off-white foam that slightly lasted. Very good lacing. The aroma of the beer was made up of oranges, pine needles, graham cracker, and some wheat. The flavor included bitter pine, grapefruit, and a hint of wheat. Just plain bittter without much of anything else to help provide balance. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. Not bad, but not really my thing. Kind of boring.

Pours medium bodied amber with a white head. Has a pleasing aroma of juicy hops(pine) with a little wheat. Has the flavor of piney hops, hint of wheat, and a hint of caramel. Semi sweet, dry bitter finish, refreshing, balanced and clean. Um you might as well call this a IIPA as it tastes almost the same all around, except for the down tone of the wheat which isn’t very prevalent. All around, this is an excellent beer and I’m glad I can pick up one of these just a few miles away any time.

Light amber pour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is orange citrus hops and a bit of lemon. Flavor was crisp orange, wheat, citrus hops, grain, and a bit of a bit of alcohol. Finishes pretty boozy, medium hop bitterness. The aroma of this is great, but the flavor doesn’t quite match up. Still a good beer.
