zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA May 18, 2008 (draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Rich gold color with a puffy head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy with lots of pine and earth and citrus. Flavor is wheaty and floral with a good citrus and hop flavor at the start and a sweet and flowery finish. Very nice.
dchmela (695), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 27, 2008 22oz Bomber. Pours a cloudy straw gold with a thick white head. Malty caramel and bog citrus hop aroma. Big wheaty malt taste with a touch of some bitter hops. Sneaky strong and tasty. gnoff (2567), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 27, 2008 (65 cl bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) On August 23, 2008 Clear pale golden color, small white head. Floral and grassy hoppy scent. Bitter hoppy taste, some citrus and green apples. Lingering afterbitterness. Medium to moussy mouthfeel, high bitterness. omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 26, 2008 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with some vague vegetables. Sweet and amazingly thin for an 8% beer. Metal is the predominant feature, though citric hops tries in vain to cover it. It’s edgy and aggresive with no thirst quenching qualities whatsoever. As there are also near no flavour to savours, beside sweaty lightly orange hops. An imperially boring beer. blutt59 (657), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 22, 2008 bottle, clear gold color, large foamy head with some legs, nose is hoppy malt, flavor is bright lemon and sweetness, finish is a bit muddled dmac (842), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Aug 21, 2008 22 oz bomber from Spirits RB. Poured a grat looking clear gold with lots of visible small bubbles rising from the bottom of my Pschorr-Brau Weisse glass all the way to the top only to disappear underneath a thcik layer of frothy bright white head that had the staying power of an A list porn star. Aroma on this one was lots of bitter citrus hops, grass, lemons and more citrus notes. Flavor of lemons, grainy bread, bitter fresh hops and a touch of grass. Palate on this one is medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and a very bitter finsih, excellent. Although the aroma/flavor combo isn’t a 1-2 knockout combo, especially compared to the appearance/palate combo, it’s solid and a good beer all around. Worth trying.
