Commercial Description:
“a galaxy of taste in every bottle” It is through the movement of the universe that life presents itself in transformation. It is in this spirit that we make ÜberSun, a tribute to the dynamic energy of summer. The alignment of wheat and barley through this hop-infused brew embodies the solar system itself... This may be a difficult task, but one our brewers revel in! They brew a galaxy of taste into every batch. ÜberSun is the ultimate experience that will challenge you with each sip. ÜberSun Imperial Summer Wheat Beer takes off where our Hop Sun finishes. Like it’s little brother, ÜberSun is clean and full of flavor, but don’t pull an Icarus– this is one big beer! Pour a glass or drink straight from the bottle, it’s meant to be consumed wisely with friends between summer solstice and autumnal equniox. 8.0% abv • 5ºL •

(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Rich gold color with a puffy head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy with lots of pine and earth and citrus. Flavor is wheaty and floral with a good citrus and hop flavor at the start and a sweet and flowery finish. Very nice.

22oz Bomber. Pours a cloudy straw gold with a thick white head. Malty caramel and bog citrus hop aroma. Big wheaty malt taste with a touch of some bitter hops. Sneaky strong and tasty.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with some vague vegetables. Sweet and amazingly thin for an 8% beer. Metal is the predominant feature, though citric hops tries in vain to cover it. It’s edgy and aggresive with no thirst quenching qualities whatsoever. As there are also near no flavour to savours, beside sweaty lightly orange hops. An imperially boring beer.

22 oz bomber from Spirits RB. Poured a grat looking clear gold with lots of visible small bubbles rising from the bottom of my Pschorr-Brau Weisse glass all the way to the top only to disappear underneath a thcik layer of frothy bright white head that had the staying power of an A list porn star. Aroma on this one was lots of bitter citrus hops, grass, lemons and more citrus notes. Flavor of lemons, grainy bread, bitter fresh hops and a touch of grass. Palate on this one is medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and a very bitter finsih, excellent. Although the aroma/flavor combo isn’t a 1-2 knockout combo, especially compared to the appearance/palate combo, it’s solid and a good beer all around. Worth trying.
