Jun 25, 2004 Dark Brown Colouring with a decent sized off white head. Roasted, Malty type of aroma. Tinnie with a hint of malt and barley in the taste. Not the best, but the not the worst either.

Mar 19, 2002 Not very smooth or creamy for a dark ale. Also had a bit of that chemical taste that occasionally occurs with southwark products. Still it was an alright beer and is a rather distinct flavour in the Southwark range of beers.

Jan 14, 2002 Although i am not a big fan of dark beers this is quite different from the norm. I found it suprisingly easy to drink.
