not a bad little beer. Good head, aroma, taste & mouthfeel. However, it lacks any real character to make it stand out. Would drink it again, but wouldn't go out of my way to buy a case either.

Gets a pass mark for being quite drinkable but nothing to write home to Mummy about.

An interesting comparison with Steinlager. Very similar but for the use of Pride of Ringwood hops and therefore a lack of aroma. Body is good, head clean and malt presence not bad. Yet, it still lacks character.

Cool. Nice beer I reckon. Hit the proverbial spot on a hot day last week... I reckon this is what a pilsener Urquell mixed with a XXXX would taste like. Cool. Is that Saaz hops in there?

Loved their stout so I had this. Dry cider aroma & standard aussie appearance. Flavour is just not right, not much of it, only slightly bitter & wierd aftertaste.

I have to agrre with the baron. After finally getting a carton of this up to Brisbane (I,m from Adelaide) for my birthday, I couldn’t bring myself to tell my wife it’s not as good as it was.

One of the better premium aussie styles, Great balance and a beer that you can keep drinking all night. Light on the fizz for easy consumption.

Re-rate: Smells like any other Aussie lager, but perhaps less chemically and a bit more hoppy, tastes OK, nice blend of bubbliness and creaminess on the palate, nice first up maltiness and good hoppiness, but then (as motelpogo said), ends up having that preservative taste that Aussie lagers seem to have.
