Malt sweet with firm but clean mouthfeel. Sugary finish with medium bitterness. Too sweet for me. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 23, 2006 In the bottle from the Coogee Bay Hotel bottle shop. Looks like all the rest- pale yellow with a white head. The head has a fairly good retention in that it remains large long after the pour is over. Has an aroma of lemon soap. The flavor is sweet like flower water. Very mild palate, smooth with low carbonation. Easy and quick to drink. Maybe it’s the awesome location, outdoors on the balcony of the Coogee Hotel overlooking the Bay at sunset, but I’m quite satisfied. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England

Golden body with a fine white head, that was well maintained throughout. Enjoyed with a dozen Sydney Rock Oysters and a Dozen Coffin Bay Pacific, the beer was a well made and present larger. Very similar but for the use of Pride of Ringwood hops and therefore a lack of aroma. Body is good, head clean and malt presence not bad. Yet, it still lacks character. highlandlad (1278), Sydney, Australia
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 5, 2005 Disappointing "award-winning" Aussie premium lager. Pale gold colour, 1cm rocky white head and fizzy champagne-like carbonation. Head had some length and laced surprisingly well. Bland premium Aussie lager aroma - pale malt, hint of citric hops. Fresher smelling than some of its rivals but not very inspiring. Palate is spoiled by the burp-inducing fizzy mouthfeel. Malty middle and a nasty metallic finish. Buggered if I can see why this won awards. (Bottle, best before 2/8/05) Stew41 (1057), Caulfield, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 14, 2004 Clear dark gold, ours a very nice creamy head. Nose doesn’t give much. Easy going palate; appropriate fizz levels. Certaintly a softer, malt driven style with a sliver of cripness. Not bad but won’t set the world on fire.
