| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Pours amber red and transparent. Aroma is sugary and mildly earthy; sweetened black tea, dark honey, and toffee, with some wet, moldy mulch. Flavor is similarly a blend of grassy, mildewy hops and walnut-skin and cocoa nib malts; very mulchy and full of mineral and tea bitterness throughout. Palate is tinny and metallic with crisp carbonation and a limp body. Dry apple juice in the quick finish. Lazy, and uninspiring; inoffensive. Thanks Luke! jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Reddish Amber pour. Decent taste nothing too overpowering but solid. Creamy taste in mouth that leaves a somewhat dry aftertaste. I wouldn’t buy again but don’t mind that I have 5 more to drink PilsnerPeter (2667), Flushing, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle: Amber pour with nice clarity and a light tan head. Aroma is of toasted malt, mild caramel sweetness and a grassy hop touch. Surprisingly decent texture; mildly carbonated and creamy. Soft malt flavor, semi-toasted with a metallic touch. Slight caramelized hints come through which is balanced by a grassy/metallic finish. Not as terrible as it could be. The finish just tasted copper-ish, like a penny. Oh well.
