Jan 11, 2007 Amber color. Elegant aroma of English hops. The body is medium, some light malt and caramel taste, but the hops are lost, they leave light traces.

Oct 8, 2006 (draft) Off-white head atop clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, earthy/grapefruit, caramel, light chocolate. Taste is medium sweet caramel, earthy, finishing with medium grapefruit. Light-medium body with light stickiness and light acidity.

Oct 29, 2004 Poured a medium amber color with a large off white head. Malty and caramel aroma and tastes. Little nutty as well. Not a bad beer but nothing special either.

May 3, 2004 Crystal clear, amber/orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention and terrific, weeping lacework. The aroma is a bit breadsy and soapy. The flavor is well-balanced, but pretty bland. Tastes and smells like a mediocre English Bitter. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and light carbonation. Lengthy, tangy finish.

Nov 18, 2008 Pours copper with a white head. Smels earthy and tea like with some light peppery splashes. Tastes of earthy malt, tea, pepper. Hats off to the brewer for donating part of the sale to the Humane Society.

May 4, 2007 12 oz bottle. Deep amber beer with a thick tan head. Pretty boring mix of light caramel and toasted nuts. A bit of hoppy earthiness. Sweetish flavour and light bitterness. Meh
