FROTHINGSLOSH (1961), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 9, 2008 From old tasting notes back when this one was fresh. I drank alot of the honey raspberry and peaches & cream beers from this company but this one never worked for me. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a large white head. The aroma was sour, tangy and industrial. The flavor was tangy and sour with no real wheat presence. The body was fairly thin. There was nothing in this beer to set it up as a wheat beer - just a crappy industrial style ale. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 02/07/1997

shendrix (478), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Jan 4, 2007 A fiar hefe, with a smooth, citrusy mouth feel, backed up by malty sweetness, mildly floral hops, and an alchohol warmth. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 23, 2005 Draft at the Drafting Room. Gold color with aroma of hopcit and slight fruit. Tastes as it smells, with decent complexity. Nothing great, but not bad. wulfhere (217), Billings, Montana, USA Nov 25, 2003 Bottle. I have a case of homebrews in 22 oz. Sweetwater Wheat bottles.
Plae yellow, with a large aggressive head that faded quickly. Not much aroma.
Decent flavor with fruit, lemon, clove and yeast.
Thin finish. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2003 Color is a pale yellow with a big fluffy head, lots of bubbles. Smells of citrusy sweet malt and very light. Taste is along the lines of most wheat beers I've had, sweet and tangy and fairly light, very drinkalbe. tpoid (25), USA Jun 20, 2003 I have an odd take on this beer. It has no distinguishable aroma and virtually no head when poured. Color is typical to a wheat beer, yellow-muddy color. All tha being said it has a fairly nice flavor, pallatable, and no annoying aftertaste. I will have to drink another at a later date and assess again. kalisto9 (73), Crafton, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 18, 2003 I remember there was a time when I really enjoyed this beer, but after a while, I came to really not care too much for it at all. It's pretty great the first couple of times you have it, then the fun wears off. A bit too sweet...too weak. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but don't expect to fall in love with this one for too long.
