redsox99 (1), USA does not count Apr 4, 2008 WOW!! Definitely the best Wheat beer I’ve ever had!! I tried this at the Atlantic City Beer festival. No need for any fruit as the beer stands on it own.. Has nice flavor on the front and no aftertaste..
Definitely a good session beer!!
Great Job Chug!! beerbill (1243), Laurel, New York, USA Aug 10, 2008 Bottle sampled at NFB&WF ’08 at Martha Clara Vineyards. Pours a crystal clear gold. Aroma is wheat and citrus. The flavor is wheat with some light banana. A biscuit flavor arises in the aftertaste. MIld bitterness at the finish. Better than most of the wheats (and there were plenty) that I drank at the festival. nearbeer (1199), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 21, 2008 12 oz. Clear orange-gold with a large creamy and lasting head. Aroma is resin, honey, apple cider, citrus and yeast. Flavor is apple, cracked wheat, and a light herby-citrus grass finish. Light-medium body is watery, has a slight acidic tingle and finishes dry. OK summertime refreshment that’s better than most American Wheats. Brewer101 (161), New Jersey, USA Jun 6, 2008 The pour wasn’t terrible, not very cloudy though for a wheat. its aroma was very fruity. Overall it wasnt that great of a wheat, esp considering the other ones we tried this night. DerBiermeister (362), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 26, 2008 Come on, people! This is definitely underrated here. I know I don’t like this beer as much as my wife does, but it is a good American replica of a Kristallweizen. Anyway, now’s a good time to buy American, considering the current lack of American ingenuity contributing to such international debt.
