Commercial Description:
A light bodied amber ale made with wildflower honey and natural raspberry. These ingredients, combined with five domestic and imported malted barleys, Pacific Northwest hops, water and ale yeast, creat a unique, fruity ale with a soft palate and a touch of sweetness.

Editor's Note: It is unknown at present exactly where each of the Spanish Peaks beers are being brewed. Flying Dog no longer makes any of them. Some are brewed by City Brewery in LaCrosse, WI. Expect this beer entry to move as more recent info becomes available.

Nice simple beer, with the raspberries evident in both the aroma and taste. Minimal hops, some malts, nothing special.

On Tap. I normally would not order a ’honey raspbeery’ beer, but on of the bars by me gives away a glass every wednesday and this was the beer. . Smells of honey, raspberry and malts. Amber color. Sour/tart aftertaste. I did not like this beer - but hey, I have a glass from them now.

12oz bottle -pours a fizzy, disappearing light tan head and amber color. Aroma is raspberry spritzer. Taste is sweet raspberry spritzer, grain, faint flat hops which carries to aftertaste. (wheat/light malt) Light/medium body. Good effervescence.
