Commercial Description:
Fomerly known as Yellowstone Pale Ale. A traditional-style pale ale with a golden color and a full malt flavor that is surpassed only by the clean, crisp hop quality. The flowery, hop aroma is enhanced by a generous portion of dry hopping. Brewed from pale malted barley, crystal, Munich, carastan malts, Pacific Northwest hops, water and ale yeast. Note: last brewed by Mendocino Brewing.

Hazed amber body, little to no head. Aroma is bready and caramely, rich, with a bit of sourness and a slight hoppy bite. Flavor seems dominated by the maltiness, with the hop twang only coming through in the finish. Fairly drinkable but not something I’d buy again considering the many great APAs out there.

Pours with a vivacious head that formed a mesa in my glass as it settled. Interesting; never had that happen before. Anyway, the smell doesn’t do this one justice. The bite is a nice equilibrium of citrus and a dull pine/cedar taste. A nice beer that doesn’t overdo itself, but does not undersell itself either. Good session beer with a tad bit of bite.

it’s fair dark and think pale ale. It has a very musty old hop aroma to it. The flavor kinda matches. The hop flavor is pronounce and not bad, but there should me a little malt. THe next sip it not as good as the first. Another overhoppy APA.

Bottle. Gold body with a thick foamy head. Nose smells like musty oranges-and not in a good way. My god. this is sour and powdery. There is an acidic bite on this that isn’t bad, but the finish is nasty. Tastes like moldy oranges.

Poured cloudy amber with a medium white head...smell is a little soapy and a lot citrus...not grapefruit citrus, but lemon citrus...taste was also a little soapy and seemed somehow out of balance with a sweet malty lemon thing going on and then some piney hoppiness...interesting finish...

Grapevine Market - Austin, Tx - 12 oz bottle. Pours a murky light orange with a fluffy and sticky white head that leaves excellent lacing. Aroma leaves a bit to be desired - faint traces of lemony zest but finishes with a funky, earthy twang. Falvor has a slight citrusy bent to it but finishes with a slightly odd chemical mixture reminding me of Tang. Mouthfeel is decent enough, slightly spritzy. Average APA.

Very cloudy golden brown, too many floaties because of my hasty pour. Oh well. Thin white head. You can really smell citrus and it seems quite sweet. This is really not quite what I expected. It has quite a mild flavor, sweet, resulting in a nice dry bitter finish. I really like this pale ale. It isn’t over the top and is quite drinkable.

Dark straw colored, with decent head but little lacing. Hopcit aroma and taste, with some florals at the finish.
