| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Couldn't detect much an an aroma beyond "beer". Color is medium gold with a smallish head (poured from the bottle). Taste is initially malty with a slight fruitiness. Here comes the hops, just in the nick of time--bitternes sis far from overbearing. This is a well-balanced beer in terms of flavor and it is amazingly smooth as well. Nice! ¾ (5003), Colorado, USA

A bit of a stale malt and nut feeling and flavor. Fairly mild carbonation, with some small hints of honey, ginger, and wet paper.
