Commercial Description:
Fomerly known as Yellowstone Pale Ale. A traditional-style pale ale with a golden color and a full malt flavor that is surpassed only by the clean, crisp hop quality. The flowery, hop aroma is enhanced by a generous portion of dry hopping. Brewed from pale malted barley, crystal, Munich, carastan malts, Pacific Northwest hops, water and ale yeast. Note: last brewed by Mendocino Brewing.

Dark straw color with a lumpy white head and lots of lace. Balanced aroma of toasty malts, floral hops, and some fruit. Interesting flavor with a hop kickoff, a fruity malt mid-session, and a flowery, bitter hop finish. Palate is smooth and creamy with nice carbonation. A pleasant and surprising deviation from the boring hordes of west coast American pale ales.

Color is a pale orangey brown with a very tine head and lace. Smells very bittersweet and citrusy, pretty strong. Taste is a souring bitter and to much for me, out of balancevery sharp and strong.

Amber in color with a small, mostly diminishing head. Lightly malt aroma with floral notes. Hop flavor with a distinct citus kick. Enjoyable.

Nice malty caramel nose, almost buttery. Very unusual, yet pleasant flavor. I think I taste some apricot in there, but it is hard to really tell what the flavor is. Not really something I would try again.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie), moderately hoppy (pine, resin). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Decent, but not my kind of hops. Good mouthfeel.

Nice golden color, small head. Smells sweet, tastes sweet; like pear juice with just a bit of hops. Drinkable but not want I look for in an APA.

Nice, aromatic Pale Ale. It could be more distinctive, but a good American micro.
