Nov 17, 2002 Nice light copper color topped by a decent light tan head. Aroma is sweet and slightly fruity. Smell of earthy hops become noticeable as the beer warms. Flavor is fruity and spicy. Medium earthy hoppiness shows up just before the swallow and continues through the aftertaste. Resiny feeling lingers after the swallow.

Mar 27, 2007 12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus-light/medium hops. Taste is citrus-light/medium hops-bitter, secondary medium malt-caramel. Easy drinking. OK carbonation.

May 3, 2004 Sparkling clear, deep golden ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head.
The nose is earthy, herbal and floral with a touch of clover honey. Well-hopped, but not overly so. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish with a bit of grapefruit rind at the very end.

Sep 9, 2003 gold appearance. Close to no head. Nuts, berries, vanilla in the nose. A bit of a stale malt and nut feeling and flavor. Fairly mild carbonation, with some small hints of honey, ginger, and wet paper.

Apr 28, 2004 One sniff and I sure hope this is an old bottle, but without a date, I can’t tell. Hazy dark golden color with a modest dark cream colored head. Sweet honey aromas along with weathered pine boards and now that I sense it, tons of butterscotch. This just smells sticky. Well the flavors are a touch more palatiable. Lots of hops bite throughout the quaff, which overtake the malt and hold it down until late in the finish. Too unbalanced and the aroma drops this one down.

Mar 6, 2006 Bottle. Poured a deep amber with a large frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium hoppy flowers aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate sweet malt bitter flavor with a small bitter long finish.
