Commercial Description:
Fomerly known as Yellowstone Pale Ale. A traditional-style pale ale with a golden color and a full malt flavor that is surpassed only by the clean, crisp hop quality. The flowery, hop aroma is enhanced by a generous portion of dry hopping. Brewed from pale malted barley, crystal, Munich, carastan malts, Pacific Northwest hops, water and ale yeast. Note: last brewed by Mendocino Brewing.

Feint hop aroma in this modestly carbonated pale ale. Exceptionally sweet-hopped body--and perfect on the palate for a pale ale--having superb balance and overall qualities. This beer definitely held my interest and will make a great summer session beer. The best pale ale I have experienced to date.

Opens with a nice, astringent hoppiness. The middle is more malty, but the aromatic hoppines tones it well. Finishes almost sweet and warming. A very enjoyable ale.

Great golden clear color. Explodes with a floral aroma. Nice version of the pale ale style.

This is a very nice APA. Cloudy dark amber with a miniscule-bubbled lacey head. Deep, rich toffee-like amber malt aroma wafts out of the glass. Taste is similar; very sweet, but a nice hoppy bitter ending. But, the emphasis here is definitely on the malts. Very well done, and underrated IMO.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus-light/medium hops. Taste is citrus-light/medium hops-bitter, secondary medium malt-caramel. Easy drinking. OK carbonation.

Rerate (bottle; replacing a festival tasting): Cloudy amber light-brown, large creamy beige head. Light citrus and earthy aroma with light malt. Sweet with light caramel up front, mild spicy bitterness, earthy finish. Smooth with light carbonation, almost British feel - with maybe a hint of fruit.

Nice deep amber color, fair head and decent lace, malt sweet and somewhat floral nose. Medium body, sweet malt start, full top and a moderate hop spiciness at the finish. Clean and freash as most of SP beer tend to be, not a world beater, but a decent Pale Ale none the less.
