Malt profile a touch of sweetness and a dash of pumpernickle and choclate. Best Menocino/Spanish peaks beer I’ve had. Very good mouthfeel. Brown Ale is an often botched style and while this isn’t a world beater it is a decent enough beer. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The aroma is heavy malt with molasses and old fall leaves. There is also dark bread and a little chocolate. The taste is peanuts and roasted chocolate. Finishes dry and slightly salty. Actually a chewy and interesting brown, something that is hard to find. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Nutty caramel flavors, finishes on the sweet side. Medium bodied with a nice creamy mouthfeel, I am not a big fan of this style, but this one is pretty good. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

Aroma isn’t nutty at all but more sweet caramel and malts. Taste is slightly hoppy with some tin and butter. Another dissapointing beer from Spanish Peaks. kenk99 (168), Leonia, New Jersey, USA
