Yeasty, hay, citrus, stewed bannana and a fairly spicy finish. I rather liked this. Ron (1020), Rochester, New York, USA

Some citrus aroma with a light body. Did not notice the peper unless that caused the tinny aftertaste. No reason for me to try this again. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA

You could taste the orange and spices, I wouldn’t say black pepper but this was a good belgian white, and tasted very close blue moon, one of my favorites. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 25, 2005 Pours a cloudy gold with lots of floaters. The citrus araoma is relatively strong. There is also some honey and flowers in there. The taste is slightly spicy flowers and some old orange juice. This coudl use a little more wheat to balance the fairly strong citrus character. A sticky mouthfeel with some light spice. Pailhead (2593), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Pours a cloudy dull orangish-yellow with a white head. Very sour and loaded with lemon. Way too sour for a Belgian wit. Some metallic flavor in the finish as well as acidity. A definite drain pour. The fact that this doesn’t smell awful is the only thing keeping this above a 1. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 24, 2005 Faintly cloudy, pale yellowish hue. Sticky white head. Very fragrant orange/citrus nose, faint pepper/spice in the background. All orange-citrus, like orangina or something, with a light body, lively-carbonated, with a spiced up finish. Faint hops and an oh so subtle hint of black pepper gets ya in the lingering aftertaste. Very drinkable, but lacking in real depth. i think we need some imperial witbiers yo... austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 7, 2005 Mounds of citrus flavor with plenty of sourness and complexity. A moderate amount of metallic-tasting hops, too. Very light malt, yet a touch spicy. Overall, good for those who like sour and metallic witbiers. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 6, 2005 Gold pour with malt, orange peel, and coriander aroma. Tastes slight malty and hoppy, with some finishing citrus. Very light on the palate, with a dry finish. This beer is as bland and off-balance as a drunken Mormon teenager.
