blipp (724), Grand Island, New York, USA Dec 27, 2007 Bottle. Appearance: Dark Amber, thick beige head. Aroma: Spicy, malty, nutty, some faint chocolate, light citrusy hops. Palate: Medium. Flavor: Nutty and spicy with just a hint of chocolate and caramel. Just enough hops to balance it out. Overall: I was quite surprised to see this wasn’t rated a little bit higher. Not the best beer in the world but very tasty and drinkable.

Overall not bad. alexsdad06 (620), Ohio, USA May 27, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of jimbowood. Pours a clear deep copper color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is mainly caramel malts with a little spice thrown in. The flavor is more caramel malts providing moderate sweetness, light roast, some grains, and a touch of grapefruit bitterness. A bit on the thin side, but drinkable.
