Pale-golden color, with some light copper hues and plenty of tiny bubbles rising rapidly. Small white head, mostly disipating. Aroma has bits of spicy hops, honey and almonds from the pils malt and a bit of dusty yeast. Flavor shows a very reserved malt sweetness, balanced well by the light hops. A vigorous carbonation, little bit of paperiness on the finish. Flavor slowly recedes from the opening notes. Light bodied. asheft (1398), Marburg, Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Almost clear, gold with a nice, lacey offwhite cover. Aroma not appealing at all: candy (oxidation) and plum/raisin with a hint of band-aid. Flavour reflects aroma with musty cardboard dominating and some candy. Malt was detectable in small amounts. Medium body and good carbonation. Metallic. I’m sad that this beer was no good. I think that the problems may not be in the recipe... jimhilt (1678), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 4, 2005 Pours a one-finger cream head that stays leaving a thick lace. Clear pale amber color. Light-medium carbonation. Faint hoppy nose. Starts and finishes clean and crisp with an even mix of hops and malt but there is a wierd metallic/cardboard after taste. $1.49 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, Me. Lots of tinny taste initially, and then a bad afertaste. Looked good, but the taste was disappointing HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Full gold colour. Fresh grain aroma with light orange and lemon. Funky flavour – like biting on citrus but without the huge bitterness. Crisp, refreshing. Finishes a little faint and watery, but still carries some respectable hops. I had this very fresh, and I doubt this is a beer that will travel well.
