Full gold colour. Fresh grain aroma with light orange and lemon. Funky flavour – like biting on citrus but without the huge bitterness. Crisp, refreshing. Finishes a little faint and watery, but still carries some respectable hops. I had this very fresh, and I doubt this is a beer that will travel well.

12 oz bottle. Clear gold, smallish lasting white head...faint, light malts and sweet lemon in the aroma...body is metallic-tinged Sprite, with little malt and only a faint touch of dry hops...quite drinkable but that’s about it. Good for a hot day after you’re too drunk to taste much.

New 2005 bottle, probably only a month or two old. Pale-golden color, with some light copper hues and plenty of tiny bubbles rising rapidly. Small white head, mostly disipating. Aroma has bits of spicy hops, honey and almonds from the pils malt and a bit of dusty yeast. Flavor shows a very reserved malt sweetness, balanced well by the light hops. A vigorous carbonation, little bit of paperiness on the finish. Flavor slowly recedes from the opening notes. Light bodied.

Draft. Light gold color with a small head. Aroma just reeks of adjuncts and grains. Taste is watered down orange and apple juice with some cereal thrown in. In fact, you could say it’s a light liquid breakfast but that would make youthink there was some real flavor in this. I guess this is a new company contract brewing. I really hope they revise the recipe.

Bottle, best before 07/09/05, drank on 05/11/05: Light cloudy orange/yellow with a thin white head, lightly sweet aroma with some pear, starts and ends lightly bitter, with a slight stale ending.
