This beer pours a nice deep golden color with a small head that fades and tightens up a bit around the sides of the glass and never really goes away, the carbonation is lively with a good effervescence. The aroma is nice with fresh hay and some mild sweet malt notes. The flavor has some nice honey sweetness complimented with some noble homes and a good showing of alcohol with some saltiness and a bit of a metallic flavor thrown in to the background.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Tap. Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is heavy malt with fruity hops and grain notes detectable as well. Taste is very sweet, especially for a more pale lager, with slight spice at the end and a noticeable grain characteristic as well. Finishes pretty dry, and a rather nice beer overall.
