| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2006 On draught at the Brick Store in a really cool 1/2 liter curved mug with the Maibock logo. Really nice glass. Rich golden body, good creamy head. The aroma is lightly hopped. Slightly honey-like maltiness. The beer menu at the Brick Store had this listed at 9%, but I really find that hard to believe. Pretty easy drinking, a bit on the hefty side for the body for a lager, but fairly tasty. Not a bad ber. radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2006 Draught. Clear, golden body with a fluffy, white head. Slightly sweet malt, biscuits, whole grains, fresh grass, mild Noble hop character and a light, sweet residual malt element. The body is pretty creamy and smooth with mild carbonation and plenty of heft. The flavor is mostly sweet up front with a mild bitter kick toward the finish. While not the most complex or most amazing example of this style I’ve ever had, it’s tasty and enjoyable, mostly clean and quite fresh.
