May 21, 2009 Green bottle poured a clear brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of carmel, toasted malt, light earthiness and a hint of molasses. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, toasted malt and dark bread with a crisp malty finish.

May 15, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice amber color w/ a light off-white head. Aroma of yeast and bread on pour. Combination of bread and roasted malts on taste. Finishes a little harsh. Light to medium bodied.

May 8, 2009 On tap at Mahars. Pours a thin brown with a little head. Aroma is very faint caramel. Flavor is sweet and tasty, nothing rememberable though.

May 1, 2009 Bottle sampled at SF International Beer Fest. Copper color with an off-white head. Caramel malt and grain on the aroma. Flavor is bready German malt with light skunk (yes, they brought slightly skunked beer to a beer fest - damn green bottles). Light-medium body with high carbonation.

Apr 28, 2009 Bottle. Pours with a fading off-white head over a clear brown body. Aroma of grain, light lightstruck hops(skunk), caramel malt. Taste is malty, lightly skunky, with cracker and caramel. Fizzy carbonation, dryish finish, boring.
