Aroma is kinda lighter then expected, malt, some toasted grain, caramel. Flavor is very much the same. Mouth feel is thinner then what I was expecting as well, medium body, slightly watery, high carbonation. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good beer. Rynoplasty (547), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Bottle. Medium sized very fizzy ivory head with poor retention, transparent, soft slow-rising carbonation, spotty lacing, and an orange-brown body. The aroma was malty, sweet, caramel, hint of hops, and a hint of dark fruits. The flavor was sweet, malty, some caramel, hint of hops, and finishes dry. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light bodied beer. A very easy to drink dunkel, not a lot of character IMO, would be a decent session beer, and a beer to have around to drink from time to time.
