Aroma is lightly skunky initially with a light toasted malt base. A little bit nutty. Fairly prominent cracery component. It’s a very simple, and not very good dunkel. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 20, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark copper brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was brown malt and roasted malt. The crisp thick yet thin mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of brown malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
