| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Yellow pour wtih a big white head. Aroma of malt, cracker, and some earthy tones as well. Flavor is malty and pretty damn boring. Some hops finish this one ok...zzzzzzzzz. BlackForestCO (828), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a crystal clear, pale yellow color with a thick, frothy white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, some soft biscuit, a bit of honey, and some light grassy hops. Smooth entry with some lightly sweet, biscuity malts and a very light fruitiness lead into a grassy hoppiness with some light homey undertones. Smooth on the palate, but a bit thin. Not a bad beer at all, especially compared to much more popular beers like Heineken. rayOfBeer (319), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Poured from bottle a golden with medium sized white head. Aroma is toasted malt. Flavor is malt, lightly toasted sweet bread, and a little cardboard but not too bad. This one has a malty-high carbonation mouth feel ending mildly bitter with a little astinency. Overall, an easy to drink beer with some ok flavors and a few off ones but much better than most american macros. I’d drink again on occasions. bsm80 (144), Massapequa, New York, USA
