Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

0.5 l bottle. Deep golden color. The aroma and flavor is sweetish, firmly malty and honeyish aroma with traces of herbal hops. Good everyday beer, well made helles.

500ml bottle. Small white foamy head. Goes away fast. Small bubbles tickles the head of the tongue nicely. g. Cristal clear yellow colour. Aroma has hops and peach. Flavor is hoppy and dry with hints of bread. Refreshing, easy going.

Nice aroma and solid beer all around. Probaby one of the better drinkable beers I have had in the Lager family.

Bottle. Yellow pour wtih a big white head. Aroma of malt, cracker, and some earthy tones as well. Flavor is malty and pretty damn boring. Some hops finish this one ok...zzzzzzzzz.

Bottle. Poured a crystal clear, pale yellow color with a thick, frothy white head. Aroma of pilsner malt, some soft biscuit, a bit of honey, and some light grassy hops. Smooth entry with some lightly sweet, biscuity malts and a very light fruitiness lead into a grassy hoppiness with some light homey undertones. Smooth on the palate, but a bit thin. Not a bad beer at all, especially compared to much more popular beers like Heineken.

Poured from bottle a golden with medium sized white head. Aroma is toasted malt. Flavor is malt, lightly toasted sweet bread, and a little cardboard but not too bad. This one has a malty-high carbonation mouth feel ending mildly bitter with a little astinency. Overall, an easy to drink beer with some ok flavors and a few off ones but much better than most american macros. I’d drink again on occasions.

Golden yellow pour releases a neutral but delightful aroma, light, crisp, and sweet, decent beer.

Just a very light lager to me. Feels light on the palate, light in flavor and alcohol. Not too much to say of this one. No hops detected.
