| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 28, 2008 On tap at Rich O’s - Pours bright golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of light malt (bready, cookie) and light noble hops (herbs, grass). Taste is lightly malty with a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty solid lager, nothing special. A good baby step for BMC drinkers. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden color with medium white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a bit skunky with grass. The taste was a light malt with a dry finish. Not too much going on with this one. Slipstream (785), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2008 It says "original from Munich" on the label, altho it appears to be for export. Sweet, floral aroma. Straw-colored with a moderate head. Simple but effective label. A very pleasant light beer - gently hopped with a little sweetness, and disappears from the palate pretty quickly. It does not grab one’s attention, but it is hard not to like. Probably a good "lawnmower beer" as some guys like to say, altho for me, beer and yardwork do not mix very well. Frothy, white head. Clear, full yellow body. Taste is a bit of sweat (not sweet, sweat), a bit unpleasent with some copper-metallic aftertaste. Watery mouthfeel and fizzy. berkshirejohn (1835), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
