Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Bottle. High white fluffy but lasting head. Clear light yellow body. Weak barley malt aroma. Sweet, weak and boring barley malt flavor with little hops bitterness or anything else. I doubt that corn has been added the taste actually indicates it. Low carbonation, short aftertaste. Not soon forgotten - i’ll remember it for how boring it is.

On tap from the Trenton Thunder game on 7/16/07. Pours a crispy golden color with a small white head. There was a tiny bit of lacing...but I was drinking from a damn plastic cup. A light sourness followed by some malt, hops, and a sweet finish. Not bad, considering my other options at the game, but this is one and done for me.

Bottle. Nose is grassy and slightly sour. Yellow beer with a white head. Fine palate, immensly drinkable and refreshingly full bodied. Uncomplex but enjoyable flavor.

A light, golden color. Fizzy with a full white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma,as best I can describe it, citrus (lemon and maybe orange). The taste had a tinge of sweetness and light sourness, which I guess accounts for the citrus tones. This one went down smoothly.
