Jul 11, 2007 Bottle. (as Spaten Original Munich Beer) Clear, pale golden beer with a nice, beige head. Quite grainy nose, yet balanced with fruityness. The flavor has fruityness, grain and bitterness. Quite bitter finish. Medium body. Refreshing. (070527)

Jul 8, 2007 Medium offwhite shiny head. Pale yellow body. Light straw aroma. Dry, straw taste with grainy, grassy hop notes. Aftertaste is like the main taste. Clean, sharpish mouthfeel. It’s OK, but not very special. (0.5l bottle at Oliver Twist.)

Jul 2, 2007 12 oz bottle at Rabbit’s on Foster. Well I was most impressed by their knowledge of how to pour a hacker-pschorr. But since this was only $3 I’ll try this one on round two. Pours a slightly hazed yellow white head. Nose of malts, grains, hint of citrus. Light body similar flavors slightly sweet. A few grassy notes coming out. Meh, it works.
